chrispti
Hi all, Just wondered if anyone has an AAs410 extra FAC? And if possible answer some questions for me. 1) How do you rate it? 2) what pellets do you use and have you tried jsb exacts & AA pellets? 3)what distance would you recomend to zero a 30ftlb air gun and what sort of distances are you hunting at? Many thanks chris
tweedledee
i had one for 3 years and it gave no bother except for a leaky pressure guage.it was an amazingly accurate gun and worked well with aa fields 5.52(it will say on the label on the underside of the tin).i made kills at over 90 ms with that gun.i zeroed at 30ms and used a mil dot scope out to further ranges 50-70 ms kills were regular occurences.i found the gun slightly noisy but in all other ways it was fine.it gave 30 odd shots at just over 30 ft lbs.everybody says they have an awful power curve but i never noticed it. is it the fixed power xtra or the adjustable erb model.need to know more just pm me mate. chrispti
The adjustable power one. Didnt know there was a fixd power available? What about the side lever AA? Havent seen one advertised and there isnt anything on the AA web site either?
tweedledee
im not fussed on the adjustable power as it is hard enough to learn the trajectory of one power level let alone adjusting it during the shoot.i advise you to set a power level and stick with it 30 ft lbs is about right.the fixed power like the one i had is the model before the erb(adjustable). the side lever is available only in fac format im not sure on the price but it should be smoother to use but there is nothing wrong with a bolt gun.
