monkeyjaimz Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 ohh its .22 and not .177 monkyjamiz wont be happy GM just saw that, im willing to bet that a good 25% of people who use .22, do so because it's 'more powerful' than .177 lol which would prove them to be.... erm.....wrong .177 is the way for me im afraid, as this chap can faithfully attest: a 40yrd .177 logun penetrator goes in the back of the noggin and out the front - he didnt even have a chance to let go of his dinner! Always used .22 in air rifle and small bore rifle, and just got acustomed over the years to the way they shoot I suppose. I have shot with a friends .177 and to be honest after a few rounds to get my eye in on the zeroing there wasn't really any difference. I've just got used to the .22 calibre and like to stick with it. It's all down to personal preference at the end of that day, and as long as you have a clean kill that's what counts.
