njc110381 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 If you go to the mouth of the river on the teignmouth side and walk away from the river about 100 yards that's where I've seen most fish caught. I think the river water hitting the sea causes a lot of food to get trapped there in the current, so the fish tend to hang around there in larger numbers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

auto culto Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 I've been holidaying there for the last 6 years and there are some good bass to be had 1 hour either side of high water on the seaward side of the harbour entrance. You will also get some good sized fish if you take a wreck fishing trip on a boat. I always took my own boat so managed to get to the hotter fishing spots where it isn't fished to regular.
