Iaindp
After taking advice on PW about what dried food people like to use, Bakers seemed as good as any and was available from my local Tesco. As a matter of interest on a visit there yesterday, I picked up Tesco's own complete dried food and compared the ingredients with the Bakers box. They were pretty much word for word, exactly the same on both packets (even down to the colourants used). The product was exactly the same - just the packaging was different and there was inevitably a big difference in the price. Well worth keeping your eyes peeled next time you're bored of trawling round the aisles with the Missus. Iain

Iain How old is your dog, i found that giving Bakers was like feeding a hyperactive kid a bag of skittle's. We changed after advice from a few of the blokes in the syndicate i belong to, and it was like getting a new dog. Cheers
Salop Matt
We to found bakers was maing Bryn overly lively. We give him purinea small dog now and its great, Bryn has carmed down, has stopped eating poop and still burys his face into the bottom of the bowl so clearly enjoys it . No real price difference either.
Iaindp
That's interesting coz he's a lunatic and always going at 100mph. Perhaps that explains it? He's a 4.5 month old ESS so I would expect him to be lively but I'll try him on something else to see if there's any change. Paul in North Lincs.
my dogs get half raw meat ( offcuts form the butchers and a half of a basic complete food / mixer......... I find you can start spending daft money with brand names................that said....... cheaper compete grub comes a cost..... usually more cereal and not as much nutrtion. At least feeding raw meat, vegies and mixer, I know what they are getting........ and its a good balanced diet thats not to heavey on my pocket
