well went to get my choke out the other day, could move it. My gramp tried couldnt move it. We got the gun second hand and only a few months ago and i have been shooting pheasants so 3/4 choke in the (stuck barrle) has ben fine. Recenlty went to shoot skeet and wanted to put 1/2 and 1/4 in i got the first one out but could'nt get the second one out. Ive soaked it in deisel as thats what the gun smith said to do. Any other tips?:):good::lol:

keep soaking it in wd40 or parrafin, it needs to wick through and break free, if stuck it wont come free in 5 mins, leave for a few days, what ever you do dont hit it with anything, you'll wreck the muzzles and or threads, dont heat it up either, keep working the thread by tightening first then losen.

the only time you want to shock it is with a pc of material of same diameter as the choke tube, it must be smaller than the muzzle, a light tapping will gradualy break it free.

if no joy, a smith is your next try.

good luck

:good: You need to plug up the barrel with the stuck choke then fill

it to above where the choke ends inside the barrel so the fluid you

use can run into the thread inside the barrel, then leave it alone for up

to a week but keep topping it up if you cant plug the barrel properly,

Ive done a hatsan auto recently and it was stuck solid it took five days

and was solid rust when it came out.Be careful what you use as a lot of

stuff will remove the blueing from the outside,I used ordinary thin gun oil

which was reccomended by a gunsmith he quoted £50 by the way but

told me he would try the same before any major work,heating/reblue/etc.

which would cost a lot more. :)
