tweedledee
well guys due to the rising cost of clay shooting i have laid of it since christmas.i was out a fortnight ago and shot41/60 at a sporting shoot.i was gutted at that but put it down to the lashing rain and cold weather we had that night.i tried again tonight and managed 42/60.awful,last year i was hitting 54/56/58 out of 60.just goes to show you if you are`nt at it for a while you can get really rusty.i`m home thinking i need a new gun but i hit the good scores with the same gun last year.me thinks me needs more practice.does any of you guys hit good scores when only shooting occasionally? i am embarassed i never shot as bad.that been said i came second and came away with a silver medal.hard birds but still feel i`m a much better shot than that

It's like that where I shoot, the difficulty of the layout can vary quite a bit and you can only judge your performance by how you've shot compared to other people - and by the sound of it, you've done OK. You probably beat a lot of blokes who've been shooting regularly, so well done on the silver
tweedledee
i usually shoot skeet and achieve 90 plus.maybe i can`t expect to see them kind of figures on a different sporting layout each time.
