badgerman
Reading through some of the equipment threads i've realised i only ever use shell deeks and have done for years - but i will admit my decoying is a bit hit and miss (take it if you want ) so i wondered about new kit and as i dont have any full body deeks, what does everyone think? important to have a mixture of the two or just a personal preference? i wondered if anyone who never used them found much difference/improvement when they introduced them? i've only really avoided them because i can get so many more shells for the same price and they're easy to carry/pack up. cheers, BM
Country Boy
Nope, full-bodieed deeks were invented in 1981 by a plastic tool moulder and his cousin who was a plastic mould injection grafter, they did'nt do bad they are still getting paid royalties for all sales CB
Cranfield
I tend to use full bodied decoys on "open" crops, like drilling, clover, etc., mainly because I believe they give a greater exposure than a shell. The same with laid cereals. Of course, there is no scientific evidence to back up my theory, but it makes me happy and thats all that matters. THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
It's worth haveing one or two full body deeks to put up a tree or on top of a high bush or whatever.
