keith_henson
nice one cracking shooting, especially getting the little ones aswell, at least they aint going to starve down a bolt hole. I had a walk round the place where i go shooting and saw dog, vixen and 4 cubs all in an area that i thought wouldnt have any charlies! And of all the times not to have my remmy 1100 with me!!!! Back i go tonight And again - cracking shooting
JohnGalway
Eat yer weetabix man, did it take you long to get home from KE after firing it?? Those 3.5 inchers are a joy to shoot! Only wish I could get my hands on the ******* now. Asked in Duffys but he said something baout nitro shot and waiting for the ordinary ones to become available again at a more reasonable price! I want them yesterday like! Ordered a full and an extra full choke for my shottie today Oh, well done on the foxes by the way Some very very good bits of shooting done there Leave some for when I'm up would ya please?!?! I've forgotten what they look like...
tikkamark
....Cracking pic Mark...I think i know that lad.. .....I know that his one good fox/rabbit man.. and you and shane are deadly shots at the ever increasing fox population... Ye all make a deadly team.... Ill be down soon, to do a bit of bushing ect.. Yeah we do have good success it was shane that thought me the basics of shotgun and rifle shooting a few years back we do all our pheasant shooting, pigeon decoying, clay shooting and foxing together so we have it down to a fine art Hes off in turkey at the moment so i have to do the lamping without him for 2 weeks....now where did i put my sporty battery bag and scope light When you your down next time frank dont be afraid to let us know this time nice one cracking shooting, especially getting the little ones aswell, at least they aint going to starve down a bolt hole. Back i go tonight And again - cracking shooting Thanks a million keith The cubs at that age would not starve its the ones that are still feeding off the vixen are the ones that starve, the dog fox also supports them with food the cubs we got were already out hunting and scarpered when they seen the light so there not that stupid but they can be easily convinced to come in to a realistic distress call though. Good luck tonight and i forgot to add Eat yer weetabix man, did it take you long to get home from KE after firing it?? Those 3.5 inchers are a joy to shoot! Eat your weetabix do ya hear him! Were a different breed over this side of the country more delicate you know The chap i got the extrema off in longford has a load of them hes a b&p dealer so he stocks a load of that make there a quality shell but not cheap at (i think)€15 for 10. Theres no shortage of foxes here that is an absolute certainty if i had the time i could get at them a bit more you know yourself very few lamp round here so the fox numbers always seem fairly high so im fairly sure you would get a look at one or two if you were down If you are reminded what a fox looks like and it happens to be when your looking through the nightforce i dont fancy the poor foxes chances when the gun is putting out them sort of groups

I will be out myself friday night solo with the rifle to try and clear the area behind the lad that lost the chickens as i know theres still a vixen in there somewhere
