tweedledee
hey guys im looking for another over and under at the minute and i was on guntrader there looking at gun prices.i know everyone shouts about browning/beretta but have you seen the prices these command.what i`m wondering is if these guns are now massively over priced to have a nice thing.like a bmw, mercedes in the car world.i only do a little clay shooting now and wonder if i could justify spending big money on a gun that would nt get used much.for example if you were to buy a budget gun like a bettinsoli instead of a beretta and looked after it with regular cleaning is it possible it would last me just as long as the more expensive beretta?i would nt say i`m a gun snob as long as i can hit something with it.i remember shooting dtl with a bettinsoli and i outshot a guy standing next to me with a 2000£ browning and i was chuffed to bits. i know resale has a large part to play too but if the cheaper guns stand the test of time maybe they will start to control higher prices too when they get their reputations built up just a little rant after seeing what a nice o/u will cost me
Emmsy
buy a second hand browning, miroku or beretta, its a better gun in the long run and will command a better s/h market value if you come to sell. i bought a second hand browning 325 for the girlfriend to shoot for £510 and its mint, i bet if i wanted to sell it on i could make money on it.
