Devilishdave
I use 95grain Noslers with 42 grains of vit 160 which is not max load. I have taken roe, muntjack and sika with it and this is what it does to fox I predominantly stalk deer so I have it zeroed at 100m and at 200m there is only a 2 inch drop Here is a typical Roe taken with the load Thats the normal accuracy I get althogh I have had .25 inch centre to centre but not consistantly. I think I am the week link between the ammo and the rifle! Got to go and butcher a couple of roe I took with this round the other day bot of which I might add droped on the spot; one necked and the other high heart lung. To be fair though I do get quite a few runners when a bit lower on the heart. Dave Edited June 1, 2008 by Devilishdave

Devilishdave
I was at the gun shop yesterday and I was going to work up load for the SSTs but they didn't have any in stock so I have stuck with the Noslers! Dave

Dave Not bought any lately but have you tried York Guns?
Devilishdave
I have had heads from york guns before but it is a little on the far side 140miles round trip just for a few heads. I will get some brownie points by taking the wife shoping in york and bob in to York guns whilst she is spending!! Dave
steve_b_wales
I use Hornady 100Gr soft point for deer. I use 70Gr for fox, although I have just loaded a batch of 65Gr V-max to try on fox. I have also used the 100Gr on fox and as soon as they start complaining, I'll stop. I use Hodgdon H380.
