Evil Elvis
Tyler and i decided we'd have a quick zip around one of the local farms, shes not overly quiet and scared of about 6-7 bunnies, Unlucky for this young crow, he was picking over something dead and was obviously enjoying his meal....which turned out to be his last....remington sub at 80 yards made sure of that!!!! Evil Elvis
I shot a bunnies through the head at 85 yards(measured with yardage pro) and its eye were popped out of its head!!!!! I think that some p[eople under estimate the power of the .22lr!!!
Hunter
Good photo! Never underestimate the .22lr! I have done shots with this callibre that would make the PC Brigade have a field day on me, but never pushed it or myself beyond my skill limmit with it, so I have never had any issues. One night I shot three fox (out in the fields! not tame city ones) while solo lamping. Put the round in the right place, and dont push your abilities with it, and its a very rewarding calibre. It does 90% of all my shooting work.
taffygun
At 200yds the 40gr Subsonic 22LR bullet still retains something like 61ft/lbs of energy - so "THEORETICALLY" it still retains more than enough energy to kill a fox There is a obvious reason that "theoretically" is highlighted
