gixer1
It's a weatherby Vangaurd and it's a .243...been a cracking rifle so far, have only put about 40 rounds through it (37 of those were zeroing and trying different yardage's) the 3 i have fired in anger have resulted in clean kills for the 3 foxes you see in the threads in the last 2 1/2 weeks. Regards, Garry. Edited June 26, 2008 by gixer1

gixer1
I haven't actually heard of anyone else on here with one, but i guess they must be around, I notice www.garlands.uk.com are doing a deal on them with a scope and sling and slip for £999. The trigger is not the best (not quite a manlicher) but as you can see it does the job, i went out at about 5pm today and set up a target and tried a few rounds from 210 yards and i managed to put them in a 10 cm circle! there was about 1 3/4" drop on them but it says 2.2" at 200 yards on the ammo box (80grn soft point federal shok's) Regards, Garry.
