Fleas

I found a few fleas on the cockers sprayed them with frontline it did no good at all,so i did them with Frontline spot on that was not much better Frontline allways worked in the past but not now have they changed it,and what other flea control is there thats any good

hi popgun, frontline is the best by far i work for a vet supplier who supplies all the uk and it's the dogs dangly bits :unsure:

I've never found Frontline to be of any use either, although some swear by it.

I use the Bob Martin collars on my Cocker, she is now 11+ and has never had a flea or tic. The collars are around £3.50 and last for 3 months, a few weeks back, I saw a flea fall of off her onto a white carpet, by the time that I picked it up, it was dead. Cheap and they work, what more could you ask?

Stronghold is what you want, spot on but much better than frontline hence its prescription only unlike frontline.

 

The problem with the frontline spray is the sheer amount you're meant to drench the dog in which works out hidiously expensive

had the same problem dogs had loads of fleas tried loads of stuff including front line, stonghold done it, the vet seemed to thing that the fleas are becoming resistant to frontline.
