peter mcn
hello for the 1st time yeasterday i went clay shooting. i loved it it was great out of 50 clays i only hit 17. the guns i used were o/u n side by side. i prefered the over and under. but anyway the day was great weather was nice and the people teaching me were very good. plus it was only 4 pound for 10 shots so i had 50 lol. but now im thinking of joining a club the fella there runs a club n said im more than welcome to come and have a look and join if i like

pbickerd
Another newbie here Got my cert through within 3 weeks of applying, got my gun and have found a local ground that seems pretty easy going. Only been twice so far but looking forward to going a load more I'm pretty rubbish at the moment but practice makes perfect!

I remember going clay shooting for the first time at college. I like missed the first ten but got like 7 in a row then after that. pbickerd
This was with West Midlands. I actually thought that this would be pretty strict as Birmingham has some pretty nasty gun problems but apparently I was wrong! EDIT - Not saying they arent strict, I have a sqeaky clean record (FAO's words), just thought they would be less keen to give out licenses.
