bunnybasher07
Well where to start , On Saturday Mark Robson took me out deer stalking Ofcourse the day was a cracker .. but the sun was too hot . Well we were walking towards the highseat through a barley field which is about 400yds and the last 100yds mark spots a small buck under the high seat :yp: The wind wasnt in our favour so we headed back to where we came from and approached from a different angle. By this point we were sweating like micheal jackson in a primary school we followed a tree line which was parallel to us and the Roe. The highseat and a fence was between us and the roe so we could use that as cover.. plus the roe kept his head down and didnt see us or hear us :yp: we went very slowly and crawled the last 20 yds, mark passed me the rifle and by this point the buck had saw me and was slowly walking for the woods then he stopped and i squeesed the trigger i was deaf for about 20 seconds and my heartrate was hitting a record high it was cracking wee buck but the antlers werent so good on it but a buck is a buck and i am a very happy lad now we also had a long walk back to the car heres a pic of the wee buck and a tierd n sweaty me And Thanks allot Mark and the family we had a great day ps. look forward to the pigeon bashing in a few weeks Cheers GM
steve_b_wales
Well done mate. I had my first Roebuck recently. Not a Gold Medal specimen, but I will never forget it. Good luck with your future stalking.
