Set up at 1pm and there was another Gun set up in next field he was going and had 56 Birds from his stint since 6am

The shooting was instant from the start with ferals galore then 2 woodies for the Magnet then woodies all day

All in all a good day with my labrador pup on his 1st pick up day i really enjoyed it happy shooting to you all

Hello derwent man this is my first post also, sounds like you had a good day at BOT i shot there last week only to get soaked to the skin. What started out as a good looking day soon became a complete wash out with the rain ,it stopped the pigeons within ten minutes. Up until the rain there were plenty of pigeons around. Good work mate :good:

Hi there scifiden yes it was nnpc land next to the canal set up near tin shed and had good day at it where abouts did you shoot at Bot and what was your bag like i have shot there a few times with bags ranging from 10 to 75.

In the past there they have been quick to plough it over so im sure there will not be many days left to take advantage of the stubble :hmm:

Shot BOT today perfect conditions nice bit of wind, slightly overcast expecting a red letter day all to no avail, they wouldnt decoy and there wasnt as many about as i thought there would have been. Tried with the magnet and they just spooked away from it so took it down and replaced it with a flapper which did get better results however there just wasnt the pigeon numbers for a large bag i ended up picking 15 up i think derwentman as shot them all.I used two half horse shoe patterns

Hi Jack sorry to hear i have had all the pigeons at BOT where abouts did you shoot did it not rain today as that always seems to put them off and me with my really waterproof camo coat i always get drenched in it time to invest in something a little drier for these rainy summer days

Hi derwentman i shot over the field with the old burnt barn. I think some of the lack of pigeons and them being spookey may be down to that area being heavily shot when we go i think it may be wise to change location i also cant help but think your freezer must be bursting at the seems lol
