Pigeon fajitas

Just had some pigeon fajitas that took less than 10 mins to make. Very tasty too!

I slow cooked the pigeon breast overnight and most of the next day until the meat is almost falling apart (the way I like it).

I bought a fajita sauce and 1 onion (used 1/4 of it), threw the lot (including the pigeon breast) into the pan.

After a few mins when piping hot I rolled the mix into wholemeal tortillas....................mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......serve with whisky (in a glass with ice)

Cheers

Si

You put ICE in your Whisky..o my god

I do something even more terrible - I add coke!!!!! :good:

Forgive me lord..........................

YOU ADD COKE TO WHISKY :hmm: I sincerely hope for the sake of your mortal soul that is is a cheap blended whisky and not a decent malt......

You may as well book your passage straight to hell, it is a well known fact that the chap in charge of the pearly gates is fond of a drop of talisker. All whisky distilleries factor in a small offering to the angels (evaporation) and his favourite pastime is sending downstairs the heathens who add coke to whisky.

All may not be lost, thrash yourself with a handful of nettles, renounce the devils drink in its entirety (cola) and embrace the fact that decent whisky should not be ruined with anything added to it. and when our time comes i will meet you at the pearly gates with a bottle of balvenie doublewood to toast your ascension.

HA HA HA HA excellent pigeon recipe by the way :good:
