straightshooter1
Right guys my new Tikka T3 lite is arriving on Tuesday and I need your advice on the best .22-250 factory load ammo which has good grouping qualities and is best for foxing but wont break the bank
JRDS
Every rifle is different. I tried 50 GRN Remmy Accutips first off in my Sako 75 and they shot so well I didn't bother trying anything else.
steve_b_wales
Federal Power shock 55gr sp are excellent and cause a lot of damage to a fox. Good price too. Best thing to do is to start loading your own. Not too difficult and lot cheaper and more accurate than factory loads. Auto
"IMPO" I think ballistic tips would maybe cause quite a lot of carcase damage on Roe Deer. Anyone!!!!
steve_b_wales
Ballistic tips are not recommended on Roe or any other deer. I'm sure that in most cases they are not allowed. Soft point heads are more suitable for this

M ROBSON
My CZ550 22-250 groups well with Sako Gamehead 55gr SP and they are a very good round for Roe Deer. I used Federal for years then tried Sako, won't go back now! Mark.
