p-a-s Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 hi wb i guess the silence answers your question mate,i didnt see yor post until last night and was busy playing catch up after being in shropshire since friday.any way i went to the game fair on sunday,what a disapointment and waste of £20 watched a couple of things in the arena nothing i hadnt seen before ie chris greene,fly casting (yawn) falconry display,ponsy birds riding side saddle(yawn yawn),horse drawn carts,etc i know the organisers need to get as much revenue back as they can from staging these events but what have antiques,craft fairs and bloody sweet stalls got to do with a country/game fair i wont be going back to that 1 in a hurry.wish i had gone to tatton park now.sorry rant over Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

How can you call it a Game Fair ? What a let Down ! I was working there so i didnt pay to get in, There wasnt a single store selling pigeon shooting gear Mr Green was selling his deeks Good quality too, a real nice bloke too other than that there was NOWT !!!
