Better them to laugh at me putting down an SP30 from 1999, than for them to check on the PC and go NO.

 

LOL - I mentioned a caution I got as a kid fro riding my bike without lights in 1665 and my last sp30 which was in 1971. Nobody laughed or anything. They just sent me my ticket eight days after I delivered the application to their HQ.

I handed mine application in to my local police station today. She had a quick glance over it and said it all looked OK.

 

I did point out about my SP30 and she said it was not realy important, so once again I am sure you will be fine.

 

 

Quick update.

 

I rang the firearms department this morning and explained my goof on shotgun application.I explained to the lady that i genuinly forgot about 3 motoring convictions from 22 years ago and she said that was fine,but to explain to the FAO when he visits that i need to ammend my application.She didnt think it would make any difference and was *issing herself when i told her that i hadnt even been pulled over since then let alone any more convictions! Just need them to ring with a date to visit me next then.

I only state what is on my licence at the time, I have been through a SGC and FAC application plus variations and renewalls and it has never been a problem for me. I have a very chequered past speeding wise, all in the past now (if I told you you wouldn't believe me) it would be impossible for me to remember all of the dates for my fines.
