lowlander
i am currently shooting h&n feild target trophy through my s400, but somepeople have said that i will do better if i use hollow headed pellets beacause aparrently they expand upon impact, i am alreadygetting clean clean kills 99% of the time, so what do you think should i start using them instead? MM
i dont think it makes a whole lot of difference mate. as soon as it goes in the head, all the bits bet mashed up anyway, and the last thing the bunnie is bothered about is if the pellet has mushroomed. peacey
I would only use domes and AA field ones. I had an AA S410k and it loved them and so does my HW100Sk
airssassin
Stick with what you're using. H&N field and target are good as are air arms field through my rifles. Hollow points in my experience make little difference with an air rifle at 12 ft/lb but are not as accurate past about 20 yrds. It's much better to use a good domed pellet which is accurate through your rifle!
