ph5172 Posted September 28, 2008 Report Share Posted September 28, 2008 You need to complete Table 2 of the recipient's shotgun certificate with the required details, Make model, SRL No, spare barrels and the like (just copy what was written on yours. You also need to notify the police within 7 days (address at top of your cert) of the same details and who you sold it to address and certificate number. Copy the letter and send it recorded delivery, staple the orange recorded delivery postage slip to the letter and file it away. You need to do nothing to your sgc but i personally put a faint pencil line through the gun i have sold. Hope this helps, if the person has purchased shotguns privatly before im ure he can guide you (i know i have done in the past) but if you stick to the above you wont go wrong.
