ruger 10/22

Hi all,

I picked up a new Ruger 10/22 semi, trigger really heavy, has anyone ever fitted a new trigger? is it a big job?

If you mean a new trigger group then yes, very simple and can be done in no time.

Its not difficult to fit an aftermarket spring kit either,and its cheaper!

Cheers guys just googled it. and came up with detailed film clips how to do loads of stuff to the 10/22

Try www.rimfiremagic.co.uk they do some great bits for the 10/22, alternatively i got a complete trigger unit from the USA cheaper than i could get one in the UK Very easy to fit, would take about 5 mins max.

Since the law changed recently in the USA they will no longer ship anything that can be attached to a firearm to the UK, I ordered a couple of Butler Creek 25 round mags and they cancelled my order, also asked for a Harris Bipod and believe it or not they knocked that back!! Rimfiremagic do a good spring kit though, I think they even do a kit which has the auto bolt release and extended mag release in too.
