Imperfection
Im guessing the semi auto Webley is almost idential to the Escort? If so,when you remove the forend grip,it exposes a spring with the magazine inside and you'll see a small 2" long silver gas piston at the end.The 'O' ring slips over the magazine after the gas piston has been fitted. ph5172
Checked on mine and mine hasnt got one (was number 21 out of the factory) and still seems to work, looking at the parts diagram i cant see an o ring there is a seal that sits at the end of the piston sounds like it may be it, i think mine is metal? Basically on the magazine tube first is action bar sleve with the big spring in, prob wasnt removed Action Retarder (plasic tube about 2 in long) piston (metal with 3 steps in it) Piston seal (the thing i think you are on about) then forend slips over magazine cap screws on to hold everything in if u need pics drop me a pm
