busdennis Posted October 14, 2008 Report Share Posted October 14, 2008 ive got 500 pound to buy my first gun, will be used for clays to start with, pigeons as i progress and may be rough shooting when my cocker puppy is older. ive gone from a 100 or so quid bangor (theres plenty about local) till i can save and get to a game fair for a good deal. then to a new semi auto gun like a hatsons escort, 300 notes. im now looking in the 500 pound bracket new or s/h o/u mainly a lanber sporting deluxe my heads starting to spin so can anybody give advice on there experience and knowledge thanks dennis Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

peter-peter Posted October 14, 2008 Report Share Posted October 14, 2008 Do yourself a favour mate buy a beretta. s/a you can pick up a 301/302/or 303 for under £375. a used urika expect to pa £600 plus. the difference between the 303 and urika. on the urika you can set the stock in 8 different configurations to fit you. but all are top class guns that will keep their value. my advice is buy the best forget the rest. I have had , Franchi.**** escort.**** benelli second best. remington 1100. good gun constant cleaning. fabarm, looks and feels nice but ****. browning gold, same as 303 beretta indistrutable. all in all beretta is best. take note and believe.
