Cranfield
I attended the East Kent Hunt Meet at Elham on Monday and it was the biggest turnout I have ever seen, at any Hunt Meet. I had to park and walk about half a mile into the village. The square was packed , as were the side roads. There were ten Antis standing next to a Police van, being rather quiet, but the Supporters were in good spirits, with lots of cheering and clapping. It was good to read in the newspapers, that there was excellent support right round the country. As a side issue, I am also joining the Wye Beagles Hunt, not because I have the stamina to follow beagles any more, but just as a gesture of solidarity. Extending our support for these activities is something we could all consider, it surprisingly doesn't cost much and there is strength in numbers. Malc
Yes, it was same up here, very, very good turnout, both mounted and foot/car/quad followers.
eugene molloy
Ditto the Wheatland meet at Morville. Funny atmosphere though; some very angry people around. eug
