hello guys im a bit stuck im doing an easter funday at my pub and all the proceeds are going to the hospice of st francis i had some ferrets lined up for racing but due to unforseen circumstances ive only got 2 . has anyone got a couple they could bring along tommorow please ? im near bovingdon in hertfordshire pm if you can , many thanks , dave

was having a debate earlier about whether foxes were classed as vermin or pests , now i think there both the same thing but i may be wrong , anyone got any ideas as too what they are ? cheers dave

i had airgun with a scope in there once , but the measuremens are 54" high 12" across and 9 1/2" deep . i cant find a name on it anywhere , and i cant do any pics at the minute , because my camera has broke on my phone. sorry cant be bit more helpfull ? dave

selling due to packing up shooting, looking for £100 for it ono or will swap for ron thompson beach shelter and few sea fishing bits ?( better deal doing that than giving me money plus i feel im getting something for nothing if that makes sense ? ) would probally have to collect in the watford area as not driving at minute but may be able to meet localish if i can get a lift ? dave

ive got 11 tamworth x gos i need to get rid of, the girlfiends gone and got pregnant and i need to get rid of them as soon as. Theres 6 boys 4 girls which are all weand and doing well and a sow . i looking for about £50 each for the younguns and £ 100 for the sow ( who the missus called martha ! ) if by any chance you want them all i can do a little deal. they will have to be collected from near to chesham in bucks. if anyone interested let me know ? cheers dave

I remember reading in shooting times or one of the mags,that they done a test once with a cartridge inside a cardboard box and set it off and it didnt even break through the box,also ive thrown one on a fire before when cleaning out my truck and all it done was fizz. dave

had a day with will last week over milton keynes,arrived at about 8.15(after the sat nav getting lost!!!!!) and a few birds on the rape field,i was set up by about 8.45 with a dozen deeks a whirly and a bouncer,the birds were coming in before id made the final adjustments to the hide,i shot 73 by 12.30 at which point it dried up completly,sat there for 2 more hours and only a few flighting over but not interested in the pattern.All in all a good day out,bit cold though .So cheers will and ill be back again dave

Right guys ive got a question,when im decoying and get a bird come from behind and over my head at,say,30 yards high and going away,not into the decoys,where do you shoot to hit it,i normally shoot underneath it trying to get the pattern in front but never hit them.Any help would be great cheers dave

Give it a go yourself,practice on a few squirrels first,then do your stoat,youll get alot more satisfaction from it(if you got the patience to do it).theres plenty of websites that tell you how to and go onto snowdownia's site for the materials.If you dont want to, give it to me ill do it for ya dave

Not being funny but i cant see 1-2 mm making a hell of alot of difference,you still managed to miss another 14 shots with it off.My guess is that if they were moving fast with the wind, you were shooting behind them.I shoot with and without a facenet and it doesnt make any difference to my shooting at all. dave

Ive just found out that the local council arent putting any lights on the towns christmas tree this year due to health and safety reasons!!(must be down to the hundreds of people that have been electrocuted to death over the years by them??!!)Can the country get any more pathetic? dave

Ive got a tropical fish tank with all the bits you need(internal/external filter,rocks,driftwood etc) including fish( mostly malawi cichlids) its 4' x 2' x 1' looking for about £150 ono collected ive also got a pair of shimano dia-flash (the bug) 12ft 3lb t/c rods in excellent condition,only used a couple of times, looking for about £130 ono the pair collected cheers dave
