David BASC
Jon, Take a look at www.goshooting.org.uk this has a pdf booklet on the 'find' page called the Shooting Club Directory, this lists just about every shooting club in the UK. Hope that helps David

sean c
GJUK notts and district club is a great place to shoot carl is a good teacher and there are a few of the trappers that are good shots and give some very good advice. If you're after a FAC then derby rifle club and swadlincote rifle club are down your neck of the m1.

GJUK
We had a lesson with Carl and were impressed. He's a nice bloke to learn with I had my 1st lesson with Carl today - as you said he was a really nice bloke and seemed to have all the time in the world for me, even with my hundreds of questions. We did about an hour on safety but never fired a shot as it was sheeting it down with rain. Should be going back there this week for the remainder of the lesson. I joined up there also as I was impressed with Carl and the setup. Cheers, Jon
sean c
Glad you enjoyed it, not the best day for a lesson really was it? I was shooting about 2 miles away from there and got absolutely soaked.
GJUK
No you're right there! Carl did phone me and say that it was abit too wet but I thought it was worth going to get the theory done with him. Should finish it up later this week when the weathers better!!!
