kingo
hi as a new shooter who has had a 5 lessons and now aquired his SGC and new shotgun, looking for someone who possible would like to meet up next week monday 3rd or tuesday 4th and take me under their wing for a round to show me how it all works ie auto traps and explain the difference between skeet, DTL and so on, at say Fennes in braintree or any other ground within a reasonable drive, I live in Harlow Essex. Ive used my shotgun once at the weekend up north at a friends club and shot ****!! wont repeat the scores on ere lol, had been doing very well using a browning 525 but when I went to buy one at the weekend ended up with a cynergy pro sport (normal stock) as this is what I was advised fitted me as the 525 didnt fit to well (their advice)although been smashing the clays with the 525, to cut a long story short gutted with my scores and looking to see if anyone can give be a bit of guidance on all this so I dont look like a fool turning up at places on my own not having a clue (DONT WANT TO GET OUT OF THE SPORT QUICKER THAN I GOT IN DUE TO NOT BEING CONFIDENT) Any Help is much appreciated as I am extremley eager to listen and learn. Trev Can also do Sat 1st and Sun 2nd if that helps, Cheers Edited October 28, 2008 by kingo

smcgreg1
If Mayland and Southend are not to far then give me a PM. I shoot Sporting at Southend and DTL at Mayland. You have also got Essex shooting ground over at Fyfield Essex Shooting Ground I don't mind going with you on a Saturday morning or at a push a week day. Even Fennes is not that far for me. Tricky
Well done kingo for getting stuck in! I was at Three Acres on Sunday. I'm a new shooter, too, and go out on the clays most weekends. It was heaving over there, so I had my first go at Sporting Compact. Excellent fun, I loved it, paid for another round... and shot half as well. Practice makes perfect.

MC
No pressure on the old boy but Baz did tell me that he has never missed a pheasant. Still there is a first time for everything.
