well ive gone and done it ive got my self a cocker puppy  what have i let my self in for lol , she a liver bitch with a white chest called bell (will post some pics when i workout how to resize them  )shes settled in fine and ive got her a cage/crate which she has taken to no problems , i hope to train her my self and work her as and when shes ready (fingers crossed ) shes now 8 weeks old and im trying to house train her now her comes the questions and plee for help :drinks:

i regualy take her out side and she goes to toilet when out side i say to her go toilet which seems to be working my only problem so far is regardless of how often i take her out side she still pees in the house , im still telling her shes a good girl when shes goes be it inside or out as i dont want her to think shes being norty even though shes going in the house and when she does go in the house i take her straight out side and tell her to go toilet , now ive only had her since sunday and arnt exspecting her to stop peeing in the house over night i just wanted to know if im doing the right thing and if not what to do

had mine for 2 weeks this friday. he loves his crate but doesn't like me sticking my head in every now and then but i was told its the right think to do.

he has never poo'd in the house but we have had a few pee's today is the 1st day with a dry house. all i do is take him out every 1/2 hour and tell him to go 'toilet' when he has been a say 'toliet good lad' i dont use these words at any other time now. in the first few days i was saying' toilet, good boy toilet' but i then soon learnt that when we were playing in the house and he did something good i would praise him. 'there's a good boy' or words to that effect. my son said to him one day 'come on teague, lets go out to the toilet' and with that the pup pee'd on the carpet.lol. that was when i noticed that every time i praised him with a 'good boy' an accident followed. god these dogs are so clever and quick to learn. only downside is he doesn't like to get wet feet and if it rains he whinges when he has to go out to toilet.lol. we went from 5 or 6 wee's in the house a day and then to 1 or 2 for a week or so. no doubt we will have a few more

good luck with Pup. enjoy it all and take loads of photos as mine has totally changed shape and size in just 2 weeks.

Kind regards

Phil.
