scope mounted lamps

i am thinking of getting a scope mounted deben max pro lamp at the moment i use a b&q lamp mounted on a thumb stick which works but is not pin point and floods the target with light .

are deben lamps good or would i be better off getting a light force lamp.

i use a clulite small gun mounted lamp brilliant great beam 12vlt 1 mill candle power throw a red lence on it and it works a treat.lamp only £40

Another vote for the Clulite. I use a 12v Blazerlight (2 million cp) I use it as a 'hand held' and also I bought the scope bracket to attach it to the scope. An excellent lamp, small and powerfull.

I use a Lightforce 170 scope mounted lamp on my Tikka for shooting foxes,and in my opinion this particular lamp is the best scope mounted lamp there is!

i think an important factor is what you're mounting it on.

you don't need a stupidly powerful lamp if it's only going on an air rifle.

 

Personally i love my Deben Tracer Mini Pro Kit (red filter and dimmer), Uttings do it for a decent price
