al4x
the problem is pigs are a serious pest and hard to kill, not a good combination should the farmer put up with loosing his livelihood or try this approach, its a hard one but with the rate pigs breed they are hard to get on top of and shooting them moving at night isn't going to be easy. nipper
Pest control 100% Whether you like it or not ,we saw them shoot 9 "moving" pigs with 11 shots . The country around them COULD have been suitable ! WE DONT KNOW ! The biggest ricochet sound came from a shot that hit the pig first .Happens here with rabbits as well ! Different country ,different rules . But they got the job done !
pigeon master
My view is they shot like a bunch of muppets but Yanks generally do, served with a few, although very keen troops when they get a gun they think thier John J Rambo. Well the ones I met!!! The scope looks like the TWS made by BAE, trialed a few types 10+ years ago, the problem with thermal years ago was the size as they had to be cooled with high pressure air which made the equipment bulky. Now they sit nicely on top of a rifle and in another ten years we will all have one. YIPEEE Just the PW members will be much better shots than our friends over the pond, always have been always will be. The PM
