SNAKEBITE
I have made the decision to move away from pointed pellets and onto ELEY WASPS. I can get them for a good price on the Internet. When they arrive I will set up my new scope on these pellets and use them for both plinking and hunting. Have I made the right decision? Devilishdave
Wasps are good little pellets with reasonable weight consistency for the price Dave
The Shootist
Have I made the right decision? You need to try a variety of makes of pellet and find the ones your gun groups best with. Tony

Tony Thanks for the advice. The trouble is finding different types of pellet around where I live. It's a bit like fishing, someone swears by somthing they use, you try it and it's a bag of ****e and you spend hours defending your opinion over theirs!!! I'll try the wasps when they come and if they don't group better than than the pointed ones I have now I'll move on. If after trying a few the grouping doesn't improve then it'll be the guns fault because I'm perfect

That seems abloody good idea!! I did wonder if pellet manufacturers did do a "sample pack" of their wares but thought they wouldn't bother due to cost. Hopefully someone here will know the site. Thanks for your help.
