seisobs
Hi Chaps I dropped by 3 farms 6 day's ago, I explained my hobby was pigeon and crow shooting and had positive feedback. I left permission letters with SAE's attached but nothing through the post all week. Do I go back for another visit or do I just bite the bullet? scout
Have a look around and find those being hit the hardest, the I would go back and ask for the days shooting. Let the farmer know how many you've got at the end of the day and remind him then about your permission letter. Hopefully you will have had a good day, done as the farmer asked and you will have shown that you mean business and can be trusted. If they say no, at either time, just smile, say thanks and walk away, may be saying something like, I'll pop around again in a couple of weeks to see if I can do anything for you then. seisobs
Well, I went back this morning, 2 of the farms have someone doing vermin control on a Saturday, I said I could shoot during he week, they still weren't interested, the last farm had no one at home. Oh well, keep trying I suppose. It only takes two seconds to write no on a permission letter and stick it in the post though! ******* probably steamed the stamp of my envelope he he.
