An observation from the field.......

In my very limited pigeon shooting experience here in Venezuela, I've come to learn that when a bird presents a decent shot, you'd better take it because he's not likely to give you a second chance.

 

By that, I mean that these birds seem to come into a specific area, take a quick look around, land if they like what they see, or haul *** if they don't.....not to return.

 

Do your birds generally do the same?

Yeh I know from my roost shooting experience that there is usually a precise moment when you have to take the bird because a tree may be intervering with your shot if you don't.

Also when you make the first move continue with it because more than likely the bird has saw you and will not come back in.
