jef
I've had my Hunter Balmoral (bamboo) for a few weeks now and they are brilliant. I did take an eleven instead of ten for the first time in my life however. RE the fabric you talk about, is it where the sole meets the upper? I've noticed a tiny piece peeling on mine but its at the heel where I prize them off. They do have an over size rubber block on the heel to aid removing but my foot sometimes slides off that and consequently scuffs the joint I'm asking about. myzeneye
thats the one james...... like a fabric coating where the sole meets the upper..very starnge to have on a wellie.... i know they have the heel block to aid removal, but im gonna have to get me a boot jack to avoid knackering them up.... as im sure they will...... i was just shocked to see a boot at this price so poorly thought out. can i ask you, as i wouldnt know, i havent had chance to get mine dirty yet as theyve been sent back..... does this fabric hold mud dirt and look shabby when theyve dried out a bit... im guess it will? jef
The fabric is torn now on both boots and I don't hold out much hope for longevity but we'll see. If it is a problem, no doubt I wont be the only one in which case they should get sorted out. James
Jimmy_jump
What about Laksen and Muck Boots? I have heard good things for both...
Newsportshooter
As I've said before LaCrosse - Alphaburly Sport Cammo - Absolutely sound boots natural rubber lamintaed with 3.5mm neoprene and fleece lining and adjustable calf strap/buckle (come in realtree, mossy oak or Max4) really, really comfy and warm. Great flexible but tough sole and good lower leg support. One word of note though - I got size 11 (I am a size 10 UK) so I guess the sizes are in US - Make sure you clarify what size you want when you order. You can get them from www.ukcovers.co.uk AND HERE'S THE BEST BIT they are ONLY £54.99 WELL WORTH A LOOK AT LEAST
