  2. For sale. A pair of Tier One black alloy rings for 34mm tube diameter, medium height (ie 10mm high from rail to bottom of tube or 27mm from rail to center of tube). Came to me with a scope I recently bought but I already have mounts on the rifle. Hence, not required but in excellent condition. £50 collected or +postage.
  3. Ttt Prepared to do a deal for someone on this. Offers or swaps considered. WHY? Try me.
  4. And Im open to offers or swaps for anything shooting sport related, try me.

  6. Opened (controlled stored) almost full tub of Vhitavouri N160. Used 25 (6.5 creedmoor) rounds worth for development but im sticking with RS powders. Tub weighs 1.008 Kg. £75 ono. Collection only from Wendover or could meet up on M40 / M25 Heathrow corridor or at Bisley. Attachments
  7. Selling my IOR Crusader II, 5-40 x 56, IR, Side parallax, 40mm tube, 0.125 MOA turrets. It has Zero Stop, second range elevation turret indicator and lockable elevation turret. Comes with IOR box, bikini covers and receipt, bought by me from OW less than a year ago for just over £2500. Scope tube, glass etc are in excellent, damage free condition. It has been professionally mounted to my target gun in a Sphur mount (so no ring marks etc), only shot out to 1K yrds but does that with ease. This scope is big and built like a tank, yet the turrets are light and precise to operate. Comes with short sunshade/flash hider. Reason for selling.. Ive always been a SFP user and I just cant get my brain to adjust to FFP. I also dont see me doing and PRL comps in the near future and mainly stick to ELR and LR shooting. £2100 for the Scope, hider and box/receipt. (+£14 secure insured postage.) I could do a deal and include the 20MOA Sphur Mono Mount for £2250 + postage. I wont sell the mount seperately unless someone wants the scope alone and its sold. This would make an excellent PRL or alternatively maritime security etc package. Id be interested in any S&B PMII 12-50 X 56 or similar SFP high mag scopes as a trade. Also interested in decent LBP so try me if you have something you want to move (I have an empty slot on FAC for LBP) Thanks for looking chaps. Quote
  8. Immaculate condition laser rangefinding 10x42 binoculars by Vortex. Only had them a year, bought from Optics warehouse, and used once. Selling as im just not using them due to focussing on target rather than stalking and want to fund a chassis for my rifle. Absolutely A1 pristine condition, comes with box, papers, the excellent Glasspak carry case and all other bits that came in the box. Also has Vortex non-quibble transferable life time warranty. Excellent glass and rangefinding ability out to 5000yrds reflective range. Not in a rush to sell and am taking a decent hit at the price. £920 posted to UK. £900 collected. 14. Depends how much you want store - Screwfix have a small electronic safe for less than 30 quid. I have one and it fits all my .243, .17, .22 and .22 wmr ammo in nicely. http://www.screwfix.com/p/security-safe-8-6ltr/93463
  15. I think we should re-commission the ducking stool and see how that works out... It makes me laugh looking at some of the replies. Oh the CPS are just trying their luck (not basing their decision on a realistic prospect of a prosecution), oh its all right - oh its all wrong.... Its so very representative of society - their is no justice system - it all boils down to who you face on the day and the major irony here is that you may face a juror with the pseudonym kdubya who really doesn't know which way to go. .
  16. The .17HMR is faultless as are all the calibres on the quad but as above once you have the .17 you will only bother to change over to a .22lr when you want to see how quiet it is. (basically don't bother with a .22lr barrel unless you absolutely have to shoot subsonic, which it doesn't sound like you have to, or you have cash to burn and think why not (been there done it). I sold my .22lr barrel as it didn't get any use but ironically I bought a .22 WMR barrel to compliment the .17 HMR. I've struggled to get out since buying it and shot it maybe twice but to be honest if your gonna buy a quad the .17 HMR and .22 WMR are the barrels to accompany it IMHO. As for the rifle itself, its a cracker as you would expect from SAKO the bolts movement is precise and as smooth as a gigolo in the playboy mansion. You cant fault SAKO even with there swap barrel models as I've found. Get the .17HMR. then think about the .22 WMR unless you absolutely need quiet then the .22lr is the kiddy. A word of note though don't think you can just trot out with all the barrels and mags in your pocket and change them willy nilly - as said above it takes seconds to switch them over but there is an obvious need for time/targets etc when it comes to zeroring the replacement barrel....
