Lloyd90
So I worked all night last night But it helped me pay off my shotty I bought the other day So anyways after a long night in work I was lying lovely in bed this morning under 3 duvets lovely and warm when my dad shouts up to me. "There's a pheasant in the garden!" I told him "Stop taking the ****" and he said "No really, theres a pheasant on the back lawn" so Up I jumped, ran down and he told me it had just ran behind the pool out of sight. I again thought he was taking the **** but chucked on my Jack Pyke Jacket and Trousers I had for xmas and some wellies and grabbed my gun I went down to the garden and looked over onto some land next door. Its full of ferns and brambles and is like a miniture woods. My neighbour is very old and doesnt mind me going / shooting on there. Its about a 6 foot drop down onto this land and as I looked I thought again my dad was windin me up when suddenly whoosh a pheasant shot up and flew over one of the bushes and just over a small ride :o . I leapt over my fence and scrambled down this drop without falling over. As I ran through the brush looking desperately I couldnt seem to find anything I have no idea where it went and was gutted that I didnt get it What a brilliant new years that would have been. So anyways being I was all dressed up I thought I may aswell pop round my permission with a bottle of wine for the farmer. Its nice to keep em sweet to make sure your ok to shoot I told him that I haven't been down his field for a while because he has moved a load of sheep onto it and I didn't want to disturb them. So he comes out with "Well if you want you can use my other field" B) :o AWESOME I thought. Got another place to go. So he told me where it was and I drove down. I phoned my mate who helped get the permission and he told me the exact one so I didnt get the wrong field. Anyways I grabbed my new gun. A Midland Gun Co Semi Auto. I hadnt even fired it yet so I loaded in 3 shells and fired them off in a safe direction. If it wasn't going to work Id like to know before taking a vital shot. All 3 shots fired and cycled perfectly ^_^ So I started walking the field and noticed a few crows about. Seeing them on the other side of the field I tried to slowly walk in on them. I had the I think Improved Modified choke the ** one. As I got closer about 5 crows flew up and away. Then suddenly 3 broke back around and I pulled the gun up to my shoulder :yp: I gave it about a foot n half lead and BANG I saw him stop in the air and I fired again infront incase he kept going but he didnt fly into it because he dropped where he was A brilliant shot even if I do say so myself New shotty first kill Altogether I fired off a few shots at the end to see how the gun was. Cylced and fired all shots flawlessly Couldnt be more pleased! Hopefully will get some pics of the new gun up later when I find the camera along with some pics of my 22LR that I havent took photos of yet HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL

Lloyd90
How are you finding the Demon? I was very pleased thanks Trussman It cycled my 30g number 6's faultlessly. I fired about 20 altogether and it did them all fine Also the recoil was very minimal. Tons better than the old SbS I used to use haha. My brother bet me the other day that it would be too much kick to fire from the hip so of course I had to give it a try whilst out. It was very manageable although not very accurate hahaha I havent put a huge number of shells through it yet or used it for much. Its got 5 chokes with it and I grabbed the book and the box of em in the car before I went out. I decided on the ** one which is the tighest before full. Cant fault it I took a shot and got a kill I cant ask any more than that It was also very nice having a third shot for it. Im sure that will come in handy
