bgrangeb
does anyone really get anything out of wheat, pasture or stubble this time of year?
weejase
Hi mate , I have just acquired a new permission at a beef and dairy farm and the fields are alive with birds The fields the birds are on are old stubble and rough ground where the fields of rape at my other permission only a mile away are totally birdless jase. Cranfield
The birds will go where the food source is and in most parts of the country through the Winter, that is rape. Old stubbles will still get visited and they will rest on plough and wheat fields, but to shoot the numbers you have to go where they are feeding. magman
If the truth be told i wish i had no rape to protect you may think but you get there decoy a few birds then they ****** off to the next field . Ok then you put a few rope bangers up on that field ,then they go to the next farm I shoot on that farm to so now i have to start all over again Frustrating to say the least
