Peter De La Mare Posted January 11, 2009 Report Share Posted January 11, 2009 (edited) Lead 9s or 8s and any steel load. Reason is that there's more lead (pellets) in these loads and so therefore more chance of hitting the bird. No reason why you can't shoot skeet with 7.5, 7, 6.5 or 6s, it's in the rules, but that'll be a waste of money (they're more expensive usually) and fewer pellets.
