your right mate, ive always had polecat type ferrets, i just make sure mine are very used to ferrets.and i cant remember the last time i had any trouble. it does still occasionaly happen and its not always the ferret that comes off worse. do you fly hawks yourself?. post a piccie mate and i will see if i can find some..

I always feed my ferrets paunched whole rabbits or fully feathered woodies,feathers can be a pain but they keep the ferrets occupied.Can't get my ferrets to put weight on with dried food or cat food.

p.s thats a snowball in the bottom,not an egg(my young son saw it and came running in to tell me the ferrets had laid an egg,haha)
