Harvested from the hedgerow..................

Today was the last day of the shoot so the farmer asked us to do a particular hedgerow that was causing him a problem and that would also keep us out of the way. The first stretch was very overgrown still with brambles and not producing many rabbits so we moved on to a bit of permanent game cover, things picked up here and a few rabbits started to bolt. Some of these buries were water logged and the ferrets emerging wet through, anyway we carried on and finished what he asked us to do and ended with a bag of 18 decent rabbits with no sign of young, and now that the shooting as finished we can carry on without any restrictions ................. :sly:

Flooded earths, wet ferrets, a strong wind blowing down the holes, lots of layups and hard digging. :sly:

Memories of a long ago session on the marshes of the Isle of Sheppey.

Great pictures again Pat, make sure your friend only waves his hand to Mrs Sweepy, we don't want her getting too excited. :D
