Mungler
I will eat my pants if you have shot a pit(s) in your beretta's barrels. I had a 1982 Silver pigeon that had the chrome barrels and there wasn't a mark on them - I was probably that gun's 50th owner and it was my first gun and easily had 10,000 carts put through it by me. The barrels were immaculate. The wood work was fairly shabby mind you. Get a drill, attach cleaning rod with brass brush and give it some. libs
The Berettas at work (686s - Silver Pigeons) easily share over 80,000 carts a year. Some of the guns have been there pre 2002 and after a good scrub, the barrells are surgical. If they really are pits and not just dents in some unburnt powder crud, take your gun to an RFD or if its under warrently, call the provider!
