Billy.
If you're of good character and have a reasonably clean criminal record (nothing serious like ABH, firearms offeces etc) you should have no problem. DOn't forget to put the kettle on for your FEO when he pops over tomorrow. There are plenty of people on here who are looking for land. It's not easy to just stumble upon land that you can do pest control. Get out there and network with people and knock on a farmer's door if his field has 500 pigeons sat in it eating his crops, or a field full of rabbits. If you haven't already, get yourself insured with BASC, as they'll be there to help you if you run into any trouble, as they'll fully insure you. Orkney Gun
Hi Chris Get out there and ASK not only the Farmers..But also the local keeper(s) We all need help in vermin control and at this time of year its ALL HANDS(or should I say guns) on the crops. If you ask I am sure the local area farms/keeper will help. I was gratefull for the lads I use here on this 33,000 acres and they suppliment my 3 under keepers. SO WHEN YOU GET YOUR LICENSE/or FOC....GO FOR IT... Edited February 25, 2009 by Orkney Gun
