old rooster
Quick, but unreliable Sorry O/R you must have posted when I was typing LB What the bike or Sean ?? He's a really great guy, not full of sh*te like some of the riders. Was amazing to watch him on his race bike as he flew into the first corner at Donny from the pit wall. Seemed like he was never going to brake !!! Waiting for a boll*cking from moderators any time now for starting this thread, still at least it's in the "General Banter" area and I don't spose folks would have posted if they weren't interested. old rooster
I have the better of the Italian twin... RSV Millie, only the std one with the chip and can (chip not fitted yet!!)But looking to sell her this year, just not using her enough to warrant keeping her.. so if anyone is interested in a 2000 (reg 2001) millie with 5000 miles and in VGC, give me a shout... Adam Go on then, how much ?. My mate has the "factory" Milly and really likes it. Went off Prillers when I watched a guy practicing at Mallory on one that **** it's oil pipe and took out half a dozen of the following riders going into Gerrards when all the oil dropped. Amazingly the thing kept running but I sure wouldn't have wanted it next week as a "one careful owner, never raced or rallied" bike. Took a look at the bike when it got back to the paddock and the oil return line was held on a PLASTIC oil tank with a poxy clip !!!, no bump in the spigot to retain the pipe so an accident waiting to happen (which it did). Don't know if they've modded it but if not I should check out how tight the clip is.
Axe
Thought i'd pop some pics up of my favorite bikes. The right is me and my trusty Fantic 201, trialing over the Sussex Downs in '90. The left is what was left of my 3-month old Kawasaki ZZR-600 when I had a head on with a Metro in '95.....yeah the Metro won. The last bike I owned was a Kawasaki ZZR-1100 possibly the best bike ever built. Unfortunately, it was the same 'ole same 'ole.....family forces sale!! I do have plans to get another, quite fancy an R1, but the wife keeps telling me we need another bedroom. Hope that doesnt mean baby number 3 is on the way Maybe she's had enough of my snoring Anyways, Cheer n Beers guys Axe.

I had a bike "modified" like that once, hit a white van head on and came off worst for wear, mind you it didn't do the van much good, pushed the engine back inside the cab, pity it couldn't have killed the tw*t who was driving it down my side of the road !!. Also had a couple of Bultaco Sherpa 325's, We do brake drum refurbishment on them if you know anyone that still ride them, do a few for Sammy Miller.
