tikkamark
There was a nice thump after I squeezed the trigger, I'd been quite nervous as it's so close to our own farm but that noise told me the job was complete. A nice big dog fox tucking into it's dinner, not a bad way to go I reckon myself. Thats a priceless picture!Reminds me of one you put up when i first joined this site way back id say it was one of the first foxes you shot with the tikka it was munching on a dead sheep too.I have nice pics of that dog fox i was talking about but cant seem ta find which bloody file there in...i hate computers Keep at them john

grasshopper
Farmer lost some chickens the other night, quite a bit of carnage, had a look around last night before work but only 1 pig,and that was fields away so no worries about that. What ever did the damage(Badger fur on the fence)came back during the night and took 3 carcasses away. Leaning more towards a fox and the badger just mopping up the free food. Farmer,s setting up a clock on another chicken carcass tonight..could,ve done with a trail cam,but still not gotten around to it. On lates next week so will be able to spend some time there if,as seems likely,it,s visiting during the early hours. The dead chickens were still there at 11 when he checked the lambs.so hopefully will have a clearer picture tomorrow.
