Carbonrocket
After freezing rabbit meat once removed from the body after boiling for 2.5 hours. How long will the meat last in the freezer? I have some that went into the freezer a week ago and want it tomorrow with some indian sauce. Will it be OK and what is an acceptable time before it goes off? MM
if you are putting it with indian sauce, that will kill any germs
John_R
I would think the cooked and then frozen rabbit meat would last a few months in the freezer.
Carbonrocket
Thanks people. Had it tonight with a Jalfrezi sauce, beer and a naan. It was lush! It was a full grown rabbit and I did not use all the meat. Is an adult rabbit normally OK for two with veg? Carbon

Carbon Hullo Carbon, A wild rabbit is usually more than enough for Lady Seagrave and I in a pie with vegetables. Indeed with the traditional accompaniments of mash, greens and English mustard, has been known to feed four. LS
