digger
just started a ten year contract in bermondsey in the heart of london, five minutes walk from tower bridge.in the space of nine short years i`ve gone from living in the country to being surrounded by concrete and people. used to walk to work, now have an hours journey on a good day.used to take the dog with me,not any more. wanted my kids to know what bird was what by their song alone,to grow up the way i did, covered in mud tired and happy. to anyone thinking of moving to a city-dont do it,no amount of money can compensate for the sheer hell. Pike
too right digger, although I am on nowhere near that sort of cash, I am stuck in Dagenham as a countrypark manager as London is the only area where they will pay me anything close to a wage I can live on in my line of work Can't stand the place but luckily I can jump in the car at the end of the day and wizz off to somewhere a bit more pleasant.
