Peter De La Mare
www.steptoes.co.uk I messed up and tried saving a few quid by buying a slightly different lens for my Oakleys than I should have, as it was £50 cheaper. Now I realise why it was £50 cheaper, and these guys will take the lens back and send me the correct one after a months use of it!! Most other places would have told me to poke it and just sold me the one I wanted and I'd have to have kept the original I bought. Plus, their prices appear to be the keenest on the net anyway. I have no affiliation with them, just impressed with above and beyond customer service. Edited March 20, 2009 by Peter De La Mare
George1990
Wonder what they've have said if you'd bought the Oakley ones to begin with...
Peter De La Mare
It's all Oakly, I just bought another lens for the frame 'cos I suffer from sun glare alot as I have ultra pale eyes. These lens are a million times darker than the standaed lens that come with the shooting array Oakly set.
Bagsy
Top find Peter, order about to go in. I always suffer with the light too and was crying like a baby shooting into the sun last Sunday having forgotten my glasses. Doesn't help having baby blue eyes - though the women love 'em
Peter De La Mare
Ya, mine are pale gray, which is ultra sophisticated, of course. But let in a LOT of light and suffer from glare/sunspots. Apparently it's common knowledge that pale eyes suffer from arc-eye loads whereas the darkies don't, according to my welder mate who can look directly into the sun without squinting. I had the Black Iridium (11-238) for £56 but they aren't Polarised, and that's the key thing. The Black Iridium Polarised lenses (11-241) are £104 but have that extra 1% light blockage and the glare protection that the other one doesn't. These product codes are for the Radar Range frame. Dunno if you have the same?
