vole
I have a WW Greener with a 24in barrel. a local rfd has one with a 30in barrel which is in much better nick. The rest of the gun has faults which might be worth a fix. I offered to buy just the barrel,at q fair price and he seemed keen until he mentioned about the serial number not matching the one on my gun and would not sell the barrel only. Is there a legal impication? I notice plenty of ads for gun parts, Thanks.

The Burpster
Its not a problem anyway as you will have no limit as to how many guns or parts therof that you can have on your ticket. I had 3 different barrels for one Beretta AL391 that I had a few years ago..... Just put the serial # on your ticket when you buy it and notify as you would a full gun ....... clayman
Action and Barrel serials can be different as long as they are noted on the Cert. Many guns are sold with extra barrels and listing barrels on their own is normal, so assuming you bought a new barrel but had the old one you would have Gun ser xxxx and extra barrel xxxx listed, and it would matter not which barrel was on the action as all parts still tie in with the SGC / FAC
